Hi, we’re the Bonnors
We're Trent and Carissa, and this is Bonnor & Co, a family business, with Trent's two boys, Samuel and Oliver, as the 'Co' in our name.
Before becoming a broker, Trent spent 7 years in insurance restoration. He was the person on site after the fire, the storm or the flood, helping families put their homes and lives back together. He saw how hard those days are, and the difference it makes when insurance does what it should.
Carissa has spent 20 years in insurance broking, looking after commercial clients, working out what they needed, negotiating cover with insurers and managing their claims. She knows how a policy should be set up and where the gaps tend to hide.
Between us, we bring more than 25 years of experience from both sides of the industry. Carissa knows broking inside out, how insurers look at a risk, how a policy is worded, and the pitfalls that can stop a claim being paid. Trent knows what comes after, what it really takes to repair a home, how assessors and builders work, and where people get caught short. Few brokers have seen both. For you, that means cover set up by people who know exactly what it needs to do, and a team who can guide you through a claim because they've been there.

When we named the business, the “& Co” was always going to be Samuel and Oliver. We’re building Bonnor & Co as a legacy for them: a business with a good name that they can one day run, grow and make their own.
That changes how we work. Every client relationship we build today is one we hope the next generation will look after too.
